Take a seat around the campfire.
Close your eyes. Feel the warmth on your skin, the rhythm of the flames whispering ancient truths, and listen – not just with your ears, but with the part of you that remembers. The part that knows the land beneath you, the stars above you, and the space in between. This is where it begins. In the glow of the fire, in the sacred space of connection. This is where stories are born, where they rise like sparks into the night, carrying wisdom from the past into the future.
The VA Network is a nonprofit streaming platform and immersive storytelling digital campfire dedicated to amplifying the voices of Indigenous and First Nations peoples and their allies. Through the power of storytelling, film, art, and song we promote cultural preservation, foster global connection, and inspire action for conservation and collective healing whilst passing down the only tools that will last and always be relevant – Good Story.
Every story shared, every voice uplifted, and every connection formed fuels a movement to honor the past, heal the present, and inspire a more connected future.
So come closer. Sit beside the fire. Let the smoke sing to you, let the land speak through you, and let the stories guide you. Welcome to the VA Network – a place where connection is the flame, and storytelling is the spark that lights the way forward. Here, the fire is always burning, and the stories are waiting for those ready to listen

All knowledge exists within the web of relations. It does not sit idle or alone; it is alive, flowing in the spaces between all things. These spaces – the sacred in-between – are where the stories we share, the connections we nurture, and the experiences we carry are held. Nothing exists in isolation. Everything we are is held in relation, woven into the great pattern of creation. Everyone who gathers around this fire becomes part of that weave, tied together by the stories and the smoke rising into the stars.
The Va is that space – the space in between. Not the void that divides but the living connection that holds everything together. It is the hum of reciprocity, the pulse of respect, the thread that ties land to people, people to spirit, and past to future through Us and what we do today. This is where knowledge lives – not as static fact, but as dynamic, breathing wisdom, carried by relationships and fed by story.
Storytelling is the vital thread. For tens of thousands of years, stories have been the vessels of wisdom, the maps of meaning, the songs of survival. They hold values, they transmit perspectives, they guide us toward the balance we’ve forgotten, and help guide us back to our role as custodians of creations.

Increasing What is known.
Increasing What Can be known.
It’s not about the What but the How. Not about the Things but the Ways. Ways of being, ways of thinking, ways of growing together. This campfire isn’t here to hold knowledge – it’s here to increase what can be known.
By embracing Indigenous ways of knowing we can remember how to live well, in balance, in relation. These ways aren’t about hoarding knowledge; they’re about honoring the space in between. The truth doesn’t sit with one person or one perspective – it’s in the aggregate, in the shared yarns, the collective weaving of stories that build consensus, for we all hold a piece of the pattern of creation. We just have to bring them all together, and share out stories.
So come sit with Us around the fire. Bring your story, your your experience, your truth, your contribution to the pyre. Together let’s build something that goes beyond entertainment – something that connects, that heals that moves Us-All forward. Because this isn’t just a campfire. It’s a call. A call to remember who we are and who we’re meant to be. The fire is lit. The circle is open. The rest is up to Us, together.
